- What services does your company provide?
You name it, we probably cover it. Aside from our premier home maintenance program Home Wellness Checkup, we handle a wide range of home repair and maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical fixes, drywall repair and patching, painting, fixture installation, deck repairs, pressure washing, caulking, carpentry, and general home upkeep. We focus on small to medium-sized jobs that don't require major remodeling or specialized trades like roofing or gas work.

- Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes, we are fully insured with general liability coverage to protect both you and our team in case of any accidents or damage. We carry workers' compensation where required, and we can provide proof of insurance upon request.

- How do you charge for services?
We typically charge by the job for straightforward tasks or by the hour for more variable work. Our rates include labor and any minor materials; we provide a detailed breakdown before starting. Minimum service time may apply for small jobs to cover travel and setup.

- Who provides the materials?

For most jobs, we supply standard materials (e.g., screws, tape, basic hardware) and can purchase specialty items for you (with a small markup to cover taxes and delivery). For high-cost or preference-specific items (e.g., fixtures, paint colors, doors), we often provide a shopping list so you can buy them yourself to save money—or we can handle it all.

- Do I need to be home during the service?
It's preferred but not always required. For access, we can work with key lockboxes, smart locks, or trusted neighbors (with your permission). We'll send progress photos and communicate throughout. Payment arrangements can be made in advance if you're away.

- Do you offer any warranties or guarantees?
Yes, we stand behind our work with a workmanship guarantee (typically 30–90 days, depending on the job). If something isn't right due to our installation, we'll fix it at no extra charge.

- What is the difference between your maintenance plan and homeowners insurance?
Our maintenance plan is a proactive, subscription-based service (e.g., monthly or annual) that covers regular tune-ups, preventive checks (like HVAC filters, caulking, minor fixes), and priority scheduling for repairs to keep your home in top shape and catch issues early.
Homeowners insurance, on the other hand, is designed for sudden, unexpected losses from events like fires, storms, theft, or major damage—not routine wear and tear, maintenance, or gradual breakdowns. It usually doesn't cover handyman-style preventive work or small repairs. A maintenance plan complements insurance by reducing the chance of claims through regular care, but they serve different purposes. (We recommend reviewing your policy for specifics.)

- What if more work is needed once the job starts (e.g., hidden damage or additional issues are discovered)?
We always aim to identify potential extras during the initial estimate. If unexpected issues arise (like rot behind drywall or wiring problems), we'll stop work, explain the discovery with photos if possible, and provide options:
-
A revised quote for the additional work.
-
Proceed only with your approval.
-
Scale back to the original scope if preferred. No surprise charges—we get your written or verbal okay before continuing beyond the agreed scope.

- Do you offer a maintenance or subscription plan?
Yes, we have flexible maintenance plans for regular home care. These include scheduled visits, priority service, discounted rates on repairs, and preventive tasks to extend the life of your systems and avoid bigger problems. Contact us for plan details and pricing.
